You don't have to be a Leonardo Da Vinci to be involved with Monongalia Arts Center. In fact you don't even need to know how to draw a stick figure. All you really need is the desire help out.
Most of the help we need requires some very non-Arts related skills. Time and will are all you need to start helping.
Below is a list of non-Art skilled labor:
Scraping, patching and painting all the time
Scanning and Photographing MACstore items for the internet
Lobby watching in the evenings and/or weekends
Plaster patching
Help cleaning and dusting
Weekly bookkeeping assistance
Electrical help almost all the time (wiring lights and switches)
Curatorial assistance - wrapping and inventory of Art works
Organizing skills - sorting through boxes and papers
File clerk -ability to sort papers and alphabetize things
Pipe-fitter/bioler maker (for our leaky 95-year-old radiator system)
Below is a list of cultural labor that requires a 6-month commitment and an interview with MAC staff:
Independent Music Series Coordinator
Chamber Music Series Coordinator
Educational Programming Director
Marketing Director
Internet Radio Programming Director
WV Artists Guild Coordinator

We can also give donation receipts for time donated towards specific skilled tasks.
