MAC (Blue)2MAC has been serving Monongalia County and surrounding areas for 40 years. Please remember that MAC could not exist without your contributions and support. We enjoy serving as your community arts and culture center and hope to continue serving you in the future.

Your Community Foundation, Inc. (YCF) provides funding for MAC through 3 separate funds:

  • The Arts Fund, made possible by the City of Morgantown
  • Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts
  • Monongalia Arts Center Fund

In 2016-17, the MAC was awarded $11,000 from Your Community Foundation, Inc. (YCF) made possible by the Arts Fund provided by the City of Morgantown, and the Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts.

The Douglas H. Tanner Memorial Fund for the Arts was established in 2003 by Mr. Tanner’s family.  The fund supports the visual and performing arts in the Morgantown area and contributes money to the Arts Fund annually to allow for larger grant funding for each of the qualified Arts Funds organizations.

The Monongalia Arts Center Fund was created in 2015 by Lori Tanner in memory of Louis and Mabel Tanner.   This endowment provides support for the MAC’s art and theatre programming, building upkeep and maintenance expenses.
